How your move works

You send your website address, we rebuild the site on a preview, you approve it, and we move your domain across and look after the site from then on.

Stillsite replaces a traditional website, on WordPress, Concrete5, Umbraco and the like, with a static site that we host and look after. The move has four steps, and nothing goes live until you have approved it.

Paste your website address into the form on the Get a quote page, with a line about what you need. We read every page and reply within two working days with what the rebuild involves.

Your site is rebuilt page for page as a static site, on a private address you can share. Your page addresses are kept, so links and search results still work.

Look it over on your own phone and laptop, ask for anything that is not right, and say yes when it is. Approving your rebuilt site says more.

Your domain points at the new site and the old one can be switched off. From that day we host the site and look after it, with Leo, your AI web developer, on email for the changes you need. Pointing your domain at Stillsite says what is involved.

  • Who holds your domain’s login, so the domain can point at the new site
  • Who holds the current hosting or agency account, and its notice period if there is one
  • Anything on the site beyond pages, news, documents and a form, so we can say what it involves

Where your old site had a function, such as a shop, bookings or a member area, Stillsite’s own is built for you as a pack and looked after the same way. Say so when you send the address.

The rebuild is free for a limited time. Prices, packs and tokens has the rest.
