The compliance pack

The compliance pack is for a firm whose website is a financial promotion, or whose wording a regulator reads: a mortgage or insurance intermediary, a financial adviser, a firm of solicitors. It is a fixed monthly price, which Prices, packs and tokens gives, and it works on its own or with Stevie.

Your regulated wording is locked. The wording you name (a regulatory footer, risk warnings, a fee disclosure, a disclaimer) is carried word for word, and every change to the site is checked against it after it is built. A change that would alter it is stopped.

A regulated change waits for your approver. You name one person in your firm as the compliance approver. A change that touches rates, fees, percentages, lender names or the locked wording is held until that person has seen the preview and pressed Approve, whoever asked for it. Any other change goes to whoever may approve changes on your site as usual.

Every approval is on record. We keep who approved each change and when, and every version of the site is kept, so you can show what was published, when, and on whose say-so.

The wording itself can change. When a disclosure has to change, the new wording is made on a preview, approved by your approver, and locked in its turn.

Any customer whose site is on Stillsite. The approver is one named person in your firm, set up by us on your written word; to change the approver, write to us through the support form.

Say so when you send us your website address, or ask through the support form. We set the locked wording and the approver up with you before your site goes live, and it is on your monthly bill from then.
